St. Elizabeth Physicians believes in engaging team members and providing outlets for talents beyond the job description. We view feedback as an essential way to improve operations to better care for you and our community.


Team Member Loyalty Council 

The Team Member Loyalty Council is a volunteer-based group that meets once a month to discuss team member feedback and ideas regarding everything from dress code to team member functions. This group actively participates in all STEP functions and acts a liaison between the team member body and senior leadership. The Team Member Loyalty Council can be credited for making positive changes in many areas of STEP.

 

Spirit Committee

Are you an energetic organizer who can't get enough of planning events and activities? Or are you simply interested in taking a small role in helping your fellow team members have a little fun? No matter what your ultimate goal may be, our Spirit Committee can help you get involved.

The Spirit Committee is a volunteer group comprised of STEP and STEH  team members that organize events and activities to provide fellowship and fun for team members and their families. Annual Spirit Committee activities/events include: STE sponsored events, the March of Dimes-March for Babies, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Ascension Parish Uniform Drive, St. Theresa Food Drive, the STE Community Health Fair and the Gonzales Christmas Parade and so many more.


Feedback and Communication

Team members have a voice in the future of St. Elizabeth Physicians and have a great impact on the processes/procedures that are utilized in the daily activities of our clinics. Once a quarter, we hold team member forums to allow all team members the opportunity to learn new and exciting things about the future of St. Elizabeth Physicians, as well share their experiences and voice their opinions. We also conduct a confidential team member opinion survey every year. This survey helps us gather information regarding the perceptions of team members.

Other tools St. Elizabeth Physicians utilizes to engage team members are:
Open Door Policy, which allows team members to engage with clinic leadership, ask questions and provide feedback on a daily basis.
Team Member Huddles, engaging team members of a specific department to discuss topics regarding patient care, employee education and practice-wide implementations.
Ask Us, which allows team members to submit questions and receive answers online regarding everything from employee pay practices to the cafeteria menu.
