Gluten free living can be overwhelming at first. Dr. Elizabeth Bollinger will discuss gluten free living for patients with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity. She will focus on navigating the grocery store, how to transition your entire family to a gluten-free lifestyle and how to prepare in advance for eating out. Meets the first Wednesday of each month.

Monthly classes are held to provide you with an opportunity to meet others electing to have knee or hip replacement surgery and to meet the team of health professionals at St. Elizabeth Hospital who will guide you through each step of the process from pre-admission to rehabilitation.

Come join Ashleigh Fuller and Angela Golden as they provide a Healthy Relationship Training. This training session will provide both teens and adults with a basic understanding and key characteristics of healthy relationships. Whether it’s with a friend, parent, or even a romantic relationship, learning how to respect, share, and trust is essential. A discussion about communication and individual values will help set a foundation prior to small breakout groups to address the different concerns for both teens and adults.

Uncontrolled diabetes can damage your nerves in your legs and feet causing diabetic neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease. Foot ulcers occur because of both conditions. Good foot care can improve the quality of life by increasing comfort, limiting the possibilities of additional medical problems, reducing chances of hospitalization because of infection and reducing requirements for other institutional care.
