If you are considering knee or hip replacement surgery, you and a loved one may want to attend a Total Joint Replacement Class even before a surgery date is set. Monthly classes are held to provide you with an opportunity to meet others electing to have knee or hip replacement surgery and to meet the team of health professionals at St. Elizabeth Hospital who will guide you through each step of the process from pre-admission to rehabilitation.

Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease Program Orientation
Starts October 16, 2017
Time: 8:30AM-9:30AM Meet at Ascension Parish Library, Gonzales Branch for a brief lecture & walk each session. Meet three times per week for six weeks. This exercise program can reduce pain and improve your overall health. It will help motivate you to get in great shape, help you walk safely and comfortably, and improve flexibility, strength and stamina. If you can be on your feet for 10 minutes without increased pain, you can have success with Walk With Ease.

Domestic violence is prevalent in every community and affects all people regardless of age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, or nationality. Come join the Ascension Community for an eve of remembrance and education on domestic violence awareness. The event will take place at the Jambalaya Park where we will hear education and empowering testimonies to support survivors, prevent relationship violence and promote justice for victims of domestic and dating violence.
