Neurology

A Neurologist is specially trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord and nerves. This complex, sophisticated system regulated and coordinates body activities. Although Neurologists help determine when surgical intervention may be necessary, Neurologists do not perform surgical procedures. The Neurologist would refer the patient to a Neurosurgeon.
